Islamabad: Senior Pakistani analyst and writer Raza Rumi, who was shot at allegedly by means of sectarian extremist staff Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ), has left the united states “for just a few months”.

Karachi, March 28, 2014: Patron-in-Chief of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has strongly condemned the terror attack on senior Journalist Raza Rumi in Lahore today.
PPP Patron-in-Chief called upon all citizens to come together against such terrorism in all its forms, so as to put an end to all plots targeting innocent people including journalists, civil society and institutions.
Bilawal Bhutto expressed his sincere condolences to the family of the martyr driver Mustafa, while wishing speedy recovery of Raza Rumi and his guard.

I highly condemn the attack on Raza Rumi and stand in solidarity with him.
Everybody has the right to voice their thoughts through whatever channel they can. Sadly the nation we’re evolving into ( have evolved into) believes that bullets are the only solution to everything.
Real people talk. Real people stand for their believes.
Nothing is more condemnable than attacking somebody may be because you differ in believes. It has nothing to do with religion, it’s a general humane thing.

Unidentified gunmen attacked a TV anchor of a private news channel on Friday, fatally wounding his driver and injuring his security guard.
Express News show “Khabar Se Agay” anchor Raza Rumi had just completed his show and had left the studio when two unidentified gunmen riding a motorcycle ambushed his vehicle near Raja Market in the New Muslim Town area.
Rumi told reporters that two gunmen opened indiscriminate fire on his car, critically injuring his driver who later succumbed to his wounds at the hospital. Rumi and his security guard were injured in the attack. Continue reading
